Welcome to Alden-Conger Public School! My name is Linnea Petersen, and I am the elementary dean of students and Title I coordinator. I'm excited to be starting my 26th year here at Alden-Conger! My history with Alden-Conger actually dates back to 1978 when I started school here as a kindergarten student! I have been a lifelong member of both the Alden and Conger communities. I grew up on a farm outside of Alden and attended kindergarten through twelfth grade as an Alden-Conger Blackhawk and eventually an Alden-Conger Knight. In 1997, I started my teaching career at Alden-Conger where I spent twelve years as an elementary teacher in the first, second and third grades. During the 2008-2009 school year, my position changed to elementary dean of students. As the elementary dean, I enjoy working with students, parents, and staff to help provide quality education in a caring, safe environment. I am passionate about the success of our school district and our students! I am proud to be part of the Alden-Conger Public School and community!
