Welcome to Alden-Conger Public School!
My name is Linnea Petersen. I'm excited to be starting my 29th year here at Alden-Conger! My history with Alden-Conger actually dates back to 1978 when I started school here as a kindergarten student! I have been a lifelong member of both the Alden and Conger communities. I grew up on a farm outside of Alden and attended kindergarten through twelfth grade as an Alden-Conger Blackhawk and eventually an Alden-Conger Knight.
In 1997, I returned to the Alden-Conger School to begin my teaching career. For twelve years, I had the privilege of teaching in first, second, and third grades. In 2008, I moved into a leadership role as the elementary dean of students, and now, as we head into the 2025–2026 school year, I’m honored to serve as the PreK–8 principal.
In my role as an administrator, I’m dedicated to partnering with students, families, and staff to foster a safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environment. I am deeply passionate about the success of our students and the continued growth of our school district.
It is a true honor to be part of the Alden-Conger Public School and this incredible community!
