Lego League

Lego League is a world-wide organization which emphasizes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) enrichment curriculum in schools, so it is obviously more than just playing with Legos.  The participants learn to do some simple programming of an EV3 brick, design and build robots and attachments (out of Legos), research and design an innovative solution to a pre-determined topic, and work together as a team. Participants can be from ages 9-14.  Visit the Lego League website for more information.
