Paraprofessional – Elementary Title I
Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate paraprofessional to support elementary students in our Title I program. The paraprofessional will work closely with teachers to provide academic support for students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
-Analyze data as part of the student identification process, create Title Team schedule and complete associated paperwork
-Provide small group support to students in the areas of reading and math
-Data entry and management of the student benchmarking and progress monitoring system
-Create and maintain student e-files
-Other duties include supervising students in various settings (classroom, playground, lunchroom, transitions)
-Prepare and organize instructional materials as directed.
-Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
Work Schedule:
-Full-time, aligned with the remainder of the 2025-2026 school calendar.
-Position reports to the PreK-8 principal.

Requirements
-High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of college credits (typically 60 credits), or a passing score on an approved assessment (ParaPro) required or an associate degree or higher preferred.
-Science of Reading trained, preferred
-Prior experience working with children, preferred.
-Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively with staff, and build positive relationships with students.
-Patience, flexibility, and a supportive mindset.

Salary
Approximately $17-19/hour, depending on qualifications and experience
