Special Education Teacher (Full-Time)

Alden-Conger is dedicated to creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality instruction and support for students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:
-Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
-Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers to support student success.
-Develop and implement effective instructional strategies, behavioral supports, and accommodations.
-Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and state standards.
-Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and due process procedures as required.
-Create a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.

-Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
-Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (ABS, EBD, SLD, ASD, or equivalent).
-Knowledge of special education laws, due process, and best practices.
-Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
-Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
