This course focuses on the exploration of early America.  It begins with the initial identification of America’s first inhabitants.  The course deals with historical events in a chronological sequence.  Must of the class will also deal with the first European Explorers, Colonization of the Americans, life in colonial America, American Independence, Westward Expansion, Slavery and the Civil War.  Throughout the course, we will relate the significance of these learning’s to the development of the Nation we have now become.
