Grade 10

Semester 1 includes an understanding of the nature of the scientific processes as it relates to biology, a demonstration of proper biological laboratory skills, and an understanding of the interrelationships of biology and technology and how they impact the environment.  Students will learn about the cell and various processes that occur within and the fundamentals of genetics and how they affect the continuity of life in the various kingdoms of organisms. 

Semester 2 - Students will gain an understanding of DNA technology, classification of organisms and of the human body.
