Write at least ten lines
Include:
Imagery - some kind of sensory detail (touch, taste, smell, sight, sound)
Simile - a comparison using “like” or “as”
Metaphor - a direct comparison
*BONUS (5 pts extra credit) Personification - giving an idea, object or animal human qualities/abilities
*Note - this poem does not have to rhyme
