Hey there! I am Chelsea Braun. I live in Wells with my husband, Dave, and my daughter, Jenna. This year has been a blessing to us, as we just had Jenna last June, and she has quickly become our whole world. I love spending my free time with her and my husband. She has brought us so much joy. As a family, we enjoy hiking in state parks, seeing wildlife, plants, and visiting waterfalls.

I love teaching. I have an education K-6 Bachelor of Science degree with a preprimary specialty from MNSU, Mankato, in 2010. I also have an Associate degree from SSC, Mankato, 2007. I am quirky and usually full of energy. I like to think that my “specialty” is finding out how to help students figure out how they learn best. My goal is to help them use this information to be the best middle schooler that they can be.

I have been teaching since 2010. After wanting to be closer to home, I began substitute teaching in the Alden area. I fell in love with the students, staff, and atmosphere of the school. I was subbing at Alden-Conger regularly in the 2020-2021 year, and was so excited to find out that they were hiring. The summer of 2022 was my first year officially as a Knight! I am currently in my third year here at Alden-Conger. I have taught 6th-grade Language Arts, Math, and Science. I am happy to be a part of the Alden-Conger community!
