Course Overview

Emphasis in this course will be on understanding and demonstrating the elements and principles of three-dimensional design. Materials used will include clay, plaster, wood, paper mache, metals and wire. Students will also learn about clay and glaze composition and kiln operation. Students in this class will need to use basic drawing skills, therefore taking two-dimensional design prior to this course is recommended, but not required.

Can be taken a 2nd time for credit in Three-Dimensional Design II but must have recieved "C" or higher for final grade in 3-Di Design I.
