The purpose of the Music Council is to provide student leadership and offer an outlet for ideas, suggestions, and information. Senior High Band and Senior High Choir will each have its own Council and elect its own representatives for the following posts:
President-
This individual presides over all business meets of the Band/Choir Council. He/She will act as a liaison between the director and the ensemble.
Vice-President-
This individual serves in the absence of the president and is in charge of being sure deadlines are met by students. He/She is aso Head of Social Activities for the ensemble.
Secretary-
This individual takes minutes at all Band/Choir Council meetings, assists the directors with office work, takes attendance during rehearsals and performances, and sends thank-you notes on behalf of the ensemble.
Treasurer-
This individual assists the director with organizing fundraising activities and other money-related issues.
Public Relations-
This individual writes articles and/or contacts the newspaper and radio stations about upcoming performances and events.
Middle School Class Representatives

12th grade-Ana Guenther
One member from each middle school class(6-8) will be elected as a spokesperson for their class. They will attend meetings and present problems and suggestions to the Band/Choir Council.
