Hi my name is Danielle Mansfield and I have been the Alden-Conger School Social Worker since 2009 for students in Pre-K to 12th grade. In my free time I enjoy camping with my family, hiking, walking my dogs in the woods, gardening, and reading. In addition to being the social worker, I am also the Homeless Liaison, 504 Accommodations Co-Coordinator, and Teacher Assistant Team (TAT) Coordinator. I am licensed by the state of MN as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and have had special classes and training regarding mental health. I enjoy listening to students and helping them problem-solve challenges in their lives. Students meet with me to discuss a number of issues such as school, friends, or family in either individual or group sessions. Both parents and teachers can make a referral to have me meet with a student. If I meet with a student regularly, then their parents must sign a social work permission form which is updated every school year as long as I continue to meet with them. I also help students and families find resources and services they need in the community. Please contact me at the school or via email if you have any questions.
