We are super excited for our Washington DC trip. This is a great opportunity for the students at Alden-Conger. We want to inspire, and empower young people to exercise the rights and accept the responsibilities of citizens in a democracy with a physical hands-on approach!

 

$100.00 NON-REFUNDABLE down payment for the trip to Washington DC in June, 2022 for students in grades 8-12 (2021-2022 school year) has been extended. I am not sure on the exact price of the trip. I am estimating between $875.00-$900.00, but the more students and chaperones that attend the cheaper it will be. I will have a final cost after when everyone has registered that wants to travel to Washington DC in June 2018 and room assignments have been decided. 

 

The itinerary, medical treatment release form, medical form, student behavior form, commitment form, motor coach guidelines, packing check list, and trip rules and regulations are posted under the link Washington DC link. The medical treatment release form, medical form, and student behavior, and the commitment forms are due Tuesday, August 29. 

 

FYI: From the date of school board approval (04/10/17) through the departure date (06/04/18), any student violating the MSHSL code of conduct is not allowed to go on the social studies trip. Any payments made toward the trip (cash, check, or fundraising dollars) before the violation occurred shall be forfeited.
