CDE stands for Career Development Event. There are many different CDE's ranging for Small Animal Judging to Meats Judging and Forestry. Our Chapter is active in the Meats, Dairy, General Livestock, and Creed Speaking contests and Wildlife.
SAE is for Supervised Agricultural Experience and is where members record work that they do that is related to Agriculture. This includes working on a farm, at a restaurant, or even mowing the lawn. There are contests that grade you on how consistently you record your work and pay on these sheets.
There are many camps that you can go to when your in FFA. You can go to a different camp every year of you FFA membership. These camps are helpful because they teach you things about FFA and about Leadership and Teamwork.
